Eddie's consecutive starts streak over.

IronBuckI

Calmer than you are.
Overreaction #2 for this evening.

After starting a gajillion(approximately) games in a row. Eddie George's consecutive starts streak is ended by a fucking formation? The Cowboys, known for their wide open passing attack, and stable of wide receivers, comes out in a five wide formation, and jacks up Eddie's streak.

Years of wear and tear can't keep the guy from being in the lineup, but a goddamn OC can. HORRIBLE!

He couldn't start for about 25 teams in the league. Big deal. It was going to end sooner or later

Uh, was there any running backs in formation at all? If not, then if the first play with a running back in formation has George as the running back then the streak stands, because he still would be the running back that started.

Except his own.

That's not how it works. Starting 11 on the field. Not Starting positions.

I doubt that...then again, the game is tape delayed here so I didn't hear any comments from Al Michaels about it. I still think that if he's the starting running back then his string of starts stands.
