Yes, let’s destroy our depth at the position for the next 2-3 seasons for a guy who will be there for one season coming off a season ending injury… because we need to be tough.

Getting so sick of this "everybody is mentally weak if they don't do what's best for me instead of what's best for them" mentality. It's mentally weak to think that way.

I was just going to post that the only thing "soft" is the mentality of this fanbase right now. So fucking whiny and entitled. It's pathetic.

Agreed! There's times parts of this fanbase sound exactly like the crap we've always laughed at from others. Disgusting! And we call others spoiled and entitled. Time for a fucking gut check fellas.

He grew up in So Cal, attended Mater Dei until his senior year. My guess is he goes home to USC now that Riley is there.

I thought the mantra was always play the best player. If this tweet is true, then Bama was an idiot to accept Jameson Williams off the portal. We were stupid for taking on that slacker Justin Fields.

As for destroying depth, I thought all schools do their best to recruit players better than what you have as a SOP... so no different than taking on players from the portal. It's an extension of traditional recruiting.

Now... if they got wind that Elias basically committed to USC thus tossing out cover that simultaneously makes their existing DBs feel warm and cozy.. I get it

So, you base our "depth at the position for the next 2-3 seasons" solely on the desire of two guys. Got it. :roll1:

If they're afraid of competition at their position, then maybe we need different folks at that position.

why on earth with anyone associated with the program put this out there? I mean I guess the janitor could have heard the coaches going over the hypothetical.

getting our shit kicked in has made us all a little pissed I get that but let’s give Day some amount of time to show us if he want to be Saban or Coker

edit: if we were 1 DB away from a natty I might feel differently but we are not
