Ellie Mae Gets in a wreck!

No....it is not my fault! I was taking my dog to the vet from her chewing out 3 stitches & they were replaced with 5 new staples! Well coming to a T (a two way stop sign)off of Valleybrook Road I looked left onto Bebout (they stop),nobody there, but the right side which does not stop I had to wait for a few cars then saw the opportunity to go & looked left nothing coming so it was my time to go so I pull out & boom from the left side.
An elderly lady never stopped or as much to slow down, she clearly admitted she never saw the stop sign. She was not familiar with the area. One would think a stop sign sticking out like a sore thumb she would see.
Her poor partially invalid husband even said"did you not see the stop sign"?
To make my day better Left the dog for a minute tops she digs 2 staples out of her leg already!:moody:
When I can I will post a picture of it!

awww sorry about the accident Elliemae, I hope everyone is ok. How bad is your car?
Is it the women drivers that always say "No....it is not my fault!"

She actually admitted she was at fault & never saw the stop sign.
I'm guessing around $2000 or so.

As a kid I was taught... the last look you make must always be to the left..
Doesn't matter what you're doing... making a left turn, a right turn or going straight... the first car that could get you is always on your left...

Glad you're fine EllieMay... if you were here, I could lend you one of those dog head shields so they can't get to their stitches or staples...

I did look left last again! You can't even imagine how fast it happened trust me I always do the three way look there, left, right, left or right ,left, right!! It was a bend she rounded going about 35~40 & I was already in motion she did not even slow down. She had never been on that road before this. I am 44 & never wrecked so my self esteem has been lowered a bit. It could have been way worse!
We are getting an elizabethan collar in about an hour!
