ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

I had ESPN radio on last Saturday morning --- the one with Mel Kiper and Dari Nowkhah -- and they spent an entire segment discussing The Bachelor. It wasn't a discussion that went off-track and naturally evolved into discussing it, they ended the previous segment by mentioning it and that they would be discussing it after commercial. Kiper apparently has a fucking "Big Board" for the Bachelor. WTF, ESPN?

They have been doing it for years. It must result in half the listeners switching to another station, me included, but they keep doing it.

Bachelor Big Board
The latest edition of the Bachelor Big Board from the incomparable Mel Kiper. Plus, an argument with Producer Dan Z., who disagrees with Mel's Board.

If ESPN were a person, I'd bet that they watch The Bachelor. Not surprised that all of their shitty talking heads watch and talk about The Bachelor. We already know that they're douche canoes, no confirmation needed. I also assume that they watch all of the Real Housewives shows as well.

Here's another issue with e!spn's business model...on the rare occasion I visit their webpage, 75% of the articles that I click on require a subscription to read. WTF? Ain't nobody got time fo dat. When that happens, all I do is scoot over to SI and read the same info without registering with their dumb website. Just idiotic. If they don't make significant changes to how they do things, I'll be surprised if e!spn, as it's currently structured, is even around five years from now.

Well I kinda get all the bitching about Herby and Fowler, but all you young whippersnappers need to be sent back in time and have to spend a year listening to Curt Gowdy, Chris Schenkle and Mel Allen calling ALL the big sporting events - especially Allen - forced to cover something besides the fucking Yankees, he reached levels of bull shit well beyond Herbies paygrade.

Now then, get the fuck off my lawn!
