Fantasy Football Advice

Up 30 points heading into tomorrow. Opponent has Mcgahee & Roddy White. I'm still a bit uneasy.

Should have started Smith. He got 7 points. Hunter fumbled.
Giving me 1.40 as a final.

Brees was terrible. That pick 6 hurt. 18 points from a man I'm accustomed to getting 30+ from weekly. Hoping he bounces back
next week. Marshall was terrible, 2.4 points. Bowe & Malcolm Floyd were solid. 24 & 11 points respectively. 29 points from Trent
14 from Jimmy Graham.

Donte Rosario on my bench wih 26 points. First week was Ogletree. Second week was Rosario. How awesome.

had a trade offered to me:

Guy offering:

Michael Bush
Eli Manning
Santonio Holmes

for

Frank Gore
Greg Jennings
Matt Schaub

If I traded Gore, that would leave me with Bush, Shonn Green, Redman, and Jonathan Stewart at RB in a league where you start two and also have a flex.

Stafford is my QB, Schaub is my backup

Fitzgerald, Crabtree, Brandon Lloyd, Desean Jackson and then Holmes would be my receivers.

Thoughts?

Counter without the RB's involved and say take it or leave it. You can't afford to lose Gore.

If Sanchez could ever get the damn ball to Santonio then I'd say yes.
Bush won't get yards, but he'll get TD's. Eli isn't much of an upgrade over Stafford. Jennings is hurt. Shaub is your backup. So you'll have
two elite QB's. Jennings will be far more better of an option over Holmes
once healthy. So you have to ask yourself - Bush for Gore?

Me I'm leaning towards no.

Need a Kicker and a def
Currently:
K - Dan Bailey (DAL) - one game.. but much like shitty kickers in the NFL... one bad game you get cut
Def - JETs

Avail:
K - Tucker (Bal), Walsh (Min),Barth (TB), Dawson (CLE) and a whole host of others
Def - CLE, ATL, DAL, WAS, BUF and some other dreggs

Thinking Tucker or Dawson for Kicker, not sure on the D

My bad, read it wrong.

Chris Johnson vs Detroit
Ben Tate @Denver
Ced Benson @ Seattle

I'm thinking Tate and Johnson since Seattle seems to be beastly at home. But honestly, I don't see any of them being great choices. This was the best I could manage after Fred Davis went down in week 1.

Denver has a pretty good run defense in their own right. Meanwhile, you have two starters and one time-sharing backup there. I'd go with the starters, though I'd think twice about Johnson... not really sure he's worth a damn anymore.

Just traded Turner and Pitta 4 Gates and A Morris ? thoughts ?

I wouldn't have done it if it were me, but then I have strict no-Redskins and no-Shanahan policies dating back almost a decade because they always screw me over.

Gates ain't what he used to be. Seems he's held together with duct tape and WD-40 these days. He can still produce, you just can't count on him to play.

Between Gates and a Shanahan-coached RB, you're going to have to watch the depth charts and inactives like a hawk on Sundays to make sure you're not left with an unused spot in your lineup.

I can see the rationale for the deal though. You got something for Turner while the gettin' was good and you flipped an relative unknown free agent pickup for Antonio Gates, which looks good on paper. I'm the kind of player though who values dependability over ceiling.
