Anyone else playing this on PlayStation 2? Such a great game, I really love it. It pretty much plays like a MMORPG (Final Fantasy XI) but offline with a really epic story.

PS2 users who aren't planning on picking up a PS3 next week definitely have something to play for the next few months with this game.

I've played the game, and its been a really great game honestly, but I haven't had the time to continue it since the holidays. They've been working on this game for some time, and it shows. I like the active battle system now, less down time between fights. You're not sitting there, waiting for a battle to begin. I like many of the characters in this game already, Balthier is a pimp, Fran and Basch are both cool. Anyway, when I get more free time I'll finish it up, I've logged over 40 hours on this one already. With what little free time I've had, I've discovered Guitar Hero, my buddy and I have been air-guitaring on that multi-player.

I just recently got a PS2 so I will be playing throuh all the FFs eventually. On FFx-2 atm, which I LOATH, almost done though.

I tried X2. I thought that it was pretty bad. Maybe it got better after a while.

I liked VII. Or maybe it was VIII. Whichever one where you catch and train the chocobos. That was somewhat interesting.

I'm pretty sure he meant FFII US/FFIV JP, considering VII was anything but simple. FFVII had a great storyline, but it was complicated as was the game for its time. FFIV was a big step for the series, and its my favorite too. I also loved VI and VII though.

I was only implying that FFVII was the best.
