FL (MD) DE Josh Kaindoh (Florida State Signee)

I could see them pushing hard for Kaindoh and Young. And maybe adding another DT like Solomon, Hansard or Ewell. That would be another monster DL haul with a focus on DT.

Kaindoh reminds me of Derrick Harvey, a tall, lean, speed-rushing defense end from Maryland who played for Urban Meyer at Florida (and had three sacks against Ohio State in the 2006 BCS title game).

Agreed one million percent...I had meant to say the same thing. Impossible not to see that comparison. Long athletes, hard workers, unending potential.

11W - THE HURRY UP: DEFENSIVE END SHUFFLE, BUCKEYES STILL IN FRONT FOR TOP TACKLE, TERPS LAND ANOTHER AND MORE

KAINDOH FADING, YOUNG RISING?

The Buckeyes don't have a glaring need at defensive end, so it's likely that Urban Meyer and Larry Johnson may elect to bring in just one at the position. As we sit 10 months from signing day, the focus appears to be on two of the nation's top edge-rushers. Both recruitments may very well come down to Ohio State and Maryland.

Recently, the Buckeyes have been rumored to be surging for five-star Josh Kaindoh; an IMG Academy standout who originally hails from Essex, Maryland. Ohio State's alleged rise to the top of the 6-foot-6, 260-pounder's list was a bit of a strange one considering Kaindoh hasn't been to Columbus in close to a year.

Contd....

And the CB's to ND commence...He was there for the Spring Game on Saturday & rumors of an impending decision make it seem reasonable.

FWIW he made a few trips North during IMG's spring break & tOSU was not one of them if that gives you any indication.

Yeah...but we beat the day lights out of all those teams; UM is undefeated against all those teams as OSU HC.

It might just all be a ruse, who knows at this point. Maryland was considered the strong favorite by many, not just recruiting guys.

Like I said in the McNair thread, if he were to go to the Terps, the draw to bigger programs might be too much to resist for these bigger names if they don't fare well this season...
