FL OL Jordan Seaton (Colorado Signee)

It's the 5 star talent part that Ohio State needs.

They are having to learn to play the game like everyone else but at the end of the day, getting players of the Bisontis/Seaton level of talent is something that has to get done. If that's after they transfer the first time or whatever.
I should be more clear, because I agree—I don’t understand why some fans are so adamant that Ohio State wins the bidding wars for high schoolers the first time around.

With Coach Prime winning this one, and Seaton announcing in LA despite being from Maryland and going to school in Florida, it feels like there was some other BS going on here that I also prefer Ohio State stay out of.

When a kid commits to a circus like Colorado, you can't blame anyone on your staff for "whiffing" imo.

No but we’ve been on a run of misses on premier OL guys so taken in aggregate people are a little concerned.

Then you see how our OL looked this year and you can’t just keep whistling past the graveyard. Maybe not this particular kid but the OL talent acquisition has to improve by, like, yesterday.

OL recruiting man! It never felt like he was really considering tOSU. The 23 NFL rookie success didn’t parlay into recruiting wins for us. I guess we stick with the regional 3-4 star path and improve our transfer portal game. That puts more pressure on player development.

Best of luck to Jordan. Boulder is a beautiful spot but don’t see the Primetime experiment delivering sustainable results. We shall see…

I guess Day just needs a nicer jacket, because he already puts QBs in the NFL, which is definitely an important factor for an OL to consider.

(He probably means Prime is good at creating attention and hype for his favorite players, so again, I’ll stay with the pitch Day/Frye are using and if kids don’t buy in, so be it.)

He also said things why wouldn't I help out someone who looks like me. So no one really had a chance sounds like unless it's just after the fact rationalization.

And Shaduer 1. Is his son 2. Hasn't been drafted yet so how is that knowing how to get people to the league.

I thought this was a joke
Yes, that is true.

However I can’t think of many 5 stars, 5 star OLs, who have transferred one year out. I’m sure it’s happened but the ones who have usually were in a program for a few years and haven’t worked out.

Not saying it can’t or doesn’t happen, just that there aren’t many 5 star OLs who lived up to their rating hopping in the portal.
Well we're still in the infancy of the Portal. But with what numbers were these past few days, I can see it continue more if a kid isn't happy at the initial schoo.
