One thing to watch: The First Baptist Academy standout has great relationships with numerous position coaches across the country but his bond with Ohio State’s Brian Hartline is really strong and getting stronger.

That has been the common refrain with many of the nation’s elite receivers in recent recruiting classes.

“Probably Brian Hartline from Ohio State,” Watkins said. “I have a lot of connections with a lot of coaches but Hartline probably because I knew him for so long.”

Ok, Watkins might be right there with Ffrench on top of my wishlist at WR for '25. Go get em both and we still have our all Florida WR class that I'm trying to speak into existence.

Watkins versus Brown III is a debate I can't decide on in terms of preference if they both want in. The obvious preference is both, but maybe I'm just being greedy. Either way, recruit the heck out of them both and the cards will fall how they fall.
