Florida State Seminoles (official thread)

I just don't see the B1G having any interest when--if they win their suit--it would immediately open up the possibility of getting UNC and UVA and maybe Duke, GaTech and/or Miami.

This would be hilariously glorious.
B1G commish presser: "Id like to start by thanking Florida State University for cracking the ACC and making this possible. As you all know we've been eyeing some east coast additions, and Florida State did a lot of work to make this happen.
Now we'd like to welcome the follow schools in no particular order:
The University of Virginia Cavaliers
The University of North Carolina Tarheels
The Duke University Blue Devils
and
The Georgia Institute of Technology Yellowjackets
Again, thank you to Florida State finishing school for bringing this possibility to reality.
Good luck in the Sun Belt."

It’s hilariously ironic how fans complain about kids making 6 or 7 figures to actually play. But have nothing to say about 1 school raising over half a billion dollars to leave a conference. It makes the lambo the kid pulled up in to sign his NLI look like chump change.
I mean, we are talking about FSU here, so I am all for the shitshow.

I’m admittedly a bit buzzed at the moment, but I fail to see what the basis would be for an antitrust claim against the ACC. There were other other conferences or going independent as options. You didn’t have to sign the agreement, dumbasses. Since when does the ACC control college football?
