Is it me or does that game sound like WW3 ? I keep hearing explosions every few seconds & it just erupted ten fold after that goal. And yes, that goal net being the Italian flag is awesome.

Happens all the time in Italian football. Used to scare the living shit out of me just watching on TV. Apparently they are just like M80's (A little more powerful though). I think it's pretty cool though. I'd hate to be a player with those explosions going off.

At least they don't ignite biblical amounts of flares like the Turks do. I've seen them literally block out the field from the view of the cameras on multiple occasions. Not to mention they're absolutely fanatical when it comes to there teams as was witnessed last week in Istanbul.

Beautiful chaos, IMO.

Beautiful chaos until they start heaving those things onto the field in droves. As a Milan supporter, I think one of your former goalies would know a thing or two about projectile flares...

Red Star Belgrade fans take the use of flares to a whole new level.

There's now riot police lining up on the field at the Auxerre-Monpellier game. This is hilarious. Game suspended AGAIN because of fan unrest. Looks like it's about to be time to start cracking some skulls.

Word on the street now is that Chelsea have joined the race to sign Eden Hazard. Qualification for Chelsea for next years Champions League plus a lower number of attacking players in Chelsea's side (more playing time) has pulled them level with Man City. He was going to announce for man city today but Chelsea's win has him thinking.

He'd fill a nice void left by Kalou/Malouda (since they both played essentially the same spot). I'm not saying both Kalou and Malouda are out at Chelsea, but one of the two (Kalou, likely) are going to be playing elsewhere next season. Would be an absolutely sick signing for the Blues.

Falcao put in a dandy of a goal during a friendly in his native Colombia against America de Cali the other day.

I guess he was saving his best goals for last as he's scored some remarkable goals the past few weeks. Great player.
