and their is nothing wrong with that.

everytime he says something he gets an outcry, exactly what he wants.
but this is another example of people taking offense to what is true...
ever heard of taking the high road?

Which is why Forde is listed as a columnist, not a beat reporter. Forde is given license to write what he thinks amongst facts. Reading skills are required for the general public to separate truth from opinion, fact from fiction.

I don't think a couple of guys posting on a forum he will never read is giving Forde what he wants. Our considering Forde an over-opinionated non-reporter is not giving into his baiting at all. In fact, I'm about to forget I ever even read it...

No kidding? :roll1: I was just disagreeing with the "logic" of the earlier post that seemed to group Forde in with ESPN's "reporting".

i never said he was reporting fact first of all. secondly when he said the bottom line is that ohio state cheated .. "bottom line" sounds like he may be telling it the way it is, or is presenting a fact. maybe all you guys think thats fine what he said. Im not going to email because i no thats what he wants. i dont call cowherd when he says dumbass things but because i posted this its an outcry? and i'm made to be a fan who nitpicks everything they do and say about osu? fuck that. fuck forde and his opinion because there is no fact to it what so ever, and then he says anyone who cares for the university should always remeber that lol thats absolute bullshit. maybe im the only one who feels that way.. just thought i'd share what the outside world thinks of the buckeye nation and our university, which im sure many of you are alums and current students.

first of all, forde never persents any opinion as an opinion.. and secondly relying on the general public to do anything, much less pull facts and seperate them from ficition when news is being reported is way over the general publics head.

I think both of these statements are absurd b/c IMO they're solely intended to inflame. In these two sentences, it seems that Forde's single goal was to maliciously commentate on OSU's violations and take a cheap shot at the way OSU's basketball team plays. The statements are ridiculous and they indicate a strong anti-OSU bias IMO.

That being said, they do seem to be statements of opinion, and there's always going to be OSU haters out there. Bottom line: who cares what this guy has to say?

No, you're not the only one who feels that way. It pissed me off too. It was insulting to me the way he phrased that like we're kids. He sounded like he was scolding Buckeye fans.

Forde-Now you were wrong kids. Don't you feel bad for what you did?
