How, exactly, does someone FORGET their baby is in the car? Losing a child is one of the worst things that can happen to parents. The grief of accidentally killing your own baby must be astronomical.

BENICIA ? Prosecutors decided Thursday not to file charges against a man whose infant son died after he accidentally left the child in the car for more than six hours.
Danny Takemoto, 46, was released from Contra Costa County jail around 1:50 p.m., after being arrested on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment the night before, said sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee.
Results of an autopsy Thursday on 11-month-old Ian Takemoto were inconclusive, said Concord police Lt. David Chilimidos. The district attorney still decide to file charges against the father pending the outcome of the investigation, he said.
Takemoto told police that he was supposed to drop off Ian at a day care center Wednesday morning but forgot. Instead he accidentally left his son strapped into his car seat while he went to work.
When his wife called in the afternoon to ask why Ian was not at the day care, Takemoto ran out to the minivan to find the child's lifeless body.
"This is rotten ? from every angle you look at it, it's terrible and tragic," said Chilimidos, who described the father as distraught.

Don't know how someone does it but it happens. Hell it happend today at work a lady left her kid at the park and I had to find the mom. Reunite both of them and what does the mother do but yell at the kid for "running away" from her. WAKE UP LADY THE KID IS 2 YEARS OLD.....IT'S YOUR FAULT, STOP BLAMING THE DAMN KID. end of rant. :biggrin:

Hope you feel misery and unbelievable anguish every day of your life from now on... and we all can hope that "that life" isn't very long. I love how the article talks about him being under stress and working 15 hours a day. I guess you can work longer now, eh, asshole?
