If your time is not displaying properly, please adjust it in your user cp settings. HOPEFULLY that means you just select your proper time zone. I've already heard from one person that for whatever reason he needed to adjust it a little bit further than that and select Atlantic instead of Eastern. Whatever, just set it to whatever spits out the right time for you where you are, and everything will be okay.

Cleve and KentState, I had to delete some posts of yours that were affected by this. They were made when the system thought we were 3 hours into the future, and were messing up the whole space time thing resulting in my brain exploding.

I have not paid too much attention to the time, so I don't know if I'm correct or incorrect (I know some folks were frustrated with is though)...

The monitor was laughing at me...

(Lest anyone get confused, I joked about punching my monitor earlier, but then later deleted that and simplified the main message. Believe it or not, monitor punching is a valid form of "fixing" computer problems.)

Set yours to Eastern (GMT -5) and you should be good. If it's still off from there (shouldn't be) move up or down one as needed.

It's all unnecessarily complicated, and when we enlisted the help of one of the vBulletin developers earlier today, we were assured that it's less so in the version (3) coming up this Summer.

Even if this board never takes off, and the site never comes to be, I suspect that little smiley I made yesterday will live on for years to come.

That smiley you used is funny, I came so close to that reality this afternoon.

Yeah, definite adjustment, but I think in the end it will be worth it. And where there are features that are just plain annoying to us collectively (if there are), we'll nuke em.

Coach/Clarity,

I've been looking at the cool smiley's we can use on the board here and started to wonder about something. Some of them have movement and some don't. Is it at all feasible to add movement to those that presently don't have movement? Or would that simply be too much trouble? I was just wondering because I thought it would be cool if the two I use at the bottom of my post (OH and IO) would wave the little signs their holding. If you think I'm crazy for asking just ignore this silly post.
