The downside to one and dones is kids going pro. Obviously his game is ready, but sharing a locker room with grown men can be a problem. Going to the Lakers sounds cool on the surface, but that organization has been rudderless since old man Buss died, and it's not Kobe's problem anymore. He's gone next week.

Maybe someone like Magic Johnson can reach out and give DAR some advice and help him get a second chance to earn trust, because it's not coming from the guys running the Lakers now.

Perhaps, but neither of these guys should be proud of themselves.

Videoing a private conversation like this is a dick move, regardless of who's doing it. Excusing it on Russell's youth is ridiculous.
