nice try to shift the focus... to a game that didn't happen today, and a play that most probably didn't see (was it on national tv?)How convenient there is no mention of Vince Young throwing the ball up by 48 on Baylor in the 4th quarter.

it definitely was a shift, b/c you were asking for fairness, wondering why nobody complianed when VY threw for a late TD vs Baylor. Hard for me to care when I would have to follow the gametracker to realize it happened. Not much of a shift of focus considering you were comparing USC to Texas.
you're stating it was not a classy move. Therefore it's without class, so I call it classless. Not shaking JT's hand was a classless move on lllloyd's part. It's not as classless as temple's coach sending in a bruiser to hurt a player, but it's still classless b/c it's the opposite of class. Is Carroll somehow less of a person because he pulls his starters out at 10 minutes instead of 15? That's a pretty arbitrary line. Believe what you want. But if that is the difference between class and classlessness, then class is pretty...overrated.
USC is a freakin joke.
Throwing the ball still, up 39? Can you say padding Matt's stats?
I can't wait till Texas beats their ass. Petey makes me sick.
SC played a great game. Where would they be without Reggie Bush?
If OSU ran up the score against scUM I would love every minute of it... tho I wouldn't try and defend it later on another boardit definitely was a shift, b/c you were asking for fairness, wondering why nobody complianed when VY threw for a late TD vs Baylor. so was it sort of classy to go for it on 4th and 10? not really. I don't see anything positive, therefore it falls onto the spectrum of classless. I suggested the range thing as well. It doesn't have to be spitting at the other coach when shaking hands in order to be classless. Standing up after a reception and flicking off your rival's bench is also classless. There can be a range and both can still be classless. No, you're presenting a false dichotomy. Things don't have to be either classy or classless. There can be a range. If PC running White with 10 minutes left is classless, and a coach throwing into the endzone on the last play of the game up 50 is classless, then are they both equal in your book?
edit: had I included a semicolon after thing, would it change the sentence? the running up the score was in reference to the 4th and 10.Going for it on 4th and 10 on the 32 was absolutely classless. Keeping Lendale in to get a record is one thing, running up the score like that is poor sportsmanship at its finest.
