Game Thread Game Two: Ohio State 20, Akron 2 (Final)

I'm not that worried because Akron has had to resort to trick plays and those still aren't working. The defense for the Bucks is tearing Akron up. Offense needs to wake up a bit. They need to hold on to the ball and start limiting their mistakes and penalties!

I'm as unimpressed with this offense as anyone... but it's not like this is anything new to us either. Running through QBs like No-D isn't going to help us imo.
Having said that, this is Akron... I wouldn't mind seeing our other QBs in the 2nd half ... regardless of the score (unless we're down and somebody has a hot hand.)

I'm not worried either...about the outcome...still...

with the turnover factor...you have to watch out for a big one that can demoralize that defense...

you play well for so long without the offense or special teams helping you...

and it can get messy.

So wait, there are fans that don't keep their eyes on Michigan all season long?

That's a first...

Henton might see some time in the 2nd half.. He'll bring a mobile QB threat to the offense and make it a little more potent. Tress will stick behind Boekman though, I'm just sick of the offense playing as lousy as they are.

Well, we've already matched ND's prolific offensive output from last week, right? And our defense is looking awesome.

Hopefully we'll wear down their defense and get a few bounces to go our way in the second half and make this thing respectable.

I can't see whats happening...... how did the two INT's happen?

Where they bad passes or what?

One came when Boeckman threw to the left sideline while the WR went inside (and slipped and fell). The other was on a deep pass where the DB and WR tipped the ball and the trailing safety caught the deflection.

I could actually see Henton doing well. From what everyone is saying our Oline isn't getting much of a push, Henton *could* counter that with his athletic ability (it could also backfire horribly). But I'm not holding my breath, the kid is still young and not greatly experienced.
I'd just like to see all our QBs get **some** game experience against a mid-major in a part of the season when we're obviously still "rebuilding" and not quite reloaded. (I still think we can be reloaded by the time we play wiscy and tsun though.)
