DAMN GOOD JOB!!

The only time I have felt this satisfied about a football season was 2002. We may not have won the NC game this year, but this has to be just about as close as you can be without winning it. We go into scUM's house with only 2 last minute losses to the #2, and 3 teams, and pull a comeback win to beat them in the Pig House. Then we go to a BCS bowl, and beat Notre Dame, this years media darlings. Some things are just as good as a NC. Congrats, and good job buckeyes, with some hard work and a little luck I don't doubt that you will be back for the NC game at the Fiesta bowl next year.

Sorry mods, its my 1000 post, I know that this could go in many other places, but I thought that since it came on such a good day that I would just start a new thread.

This season could have quite easily gone into the tank, and damn near did, after losing to Texas, Penn State, and trailing Sparty at home. But, what a comeback all the way around. You have to love beating UM and ND to finish the year on a high note.

Other than the 1974 Rose Bowl, I don't think I've ever seen a Buckeye team as poised and prepared to kick the crap out of an opponent as Tressel had the team today.

This was a good ND team, and the final score of this one tells nothing about the total domination that occurred. To me, this was Tressel's greatest coaching job since he's been here, and a helluva building block for next year.
