Guess what is the poorest big city in America?

I wonder what they consider a "big city"... Gary Indiana or Y-Town or a lot of St. Louis or any city in South Carolina isn't exactly Beverly Hills money...
What are you smoking?? There is plenty of money and class down here....

Not much of a surprise really. The elected officials up here are mostly Dems, thus the taxes keep rising and the businesses keep leaving.

I think I read an article this week, that the Cleveland area also has the largest concentration/population of released prisoners. This is great news to me :roll1: , since the mismanagement of the budget by the politicians has led to a layoff of many police forces.

Wait a minute... I just realized that the heavily democratic area that I live in is big on taxes, bad at managing budgets, and is also bad at supporting security/police forces. Oh my goodness... I think I just had an epiphany!

Tibor doesn't understand the difference between intelligence (education) and wisdom. But then, why should you?

Most profs in today's academic world are left wingers, if not far left wingers.
Why would anyone be surprised that a lot of college grads would be anything but a leftist.

If you associate intelligence and wisdom with a college diploma you are more shallow than I originally thought. The fact that Bush country is on the bottom half of that scale is not something to be ashamed of.
I would gladly associate myself with the people of fly over country before I would some east coast elitist snob or some west coast wacko.

Leftist such as yourself is the reason why the right is passing you by and running over you and your fellow left wingers. You constantly under estimate those who you look down on as inferior. The left did it with Reagan and they are now doing it with Bush. They called Reagan a dunce and other names. They are doing the same with GW. You call those last states on the list "Dregs".
Those Dregs are running all over you by voting in a republican congress and president. Meanwhile, all you can do is sit there at your keyboard whining and bitching and being the miserable fuck you obviously are. I love it.

P.S. Cleveland has been run by left wing democrats (council and mayor) since Voinivich left office......Hmmmm, maybe their new distinction makes perfect sense.

Having lived in Cleveland for almost a month now, it doesn't surprise me one bit. Sure, there were some bad areas in Columbus, but they don't come anywhere close to some of the places I've seen up here. Of course, this is why I live in the southern suburbs (Broadview Heights--one of the few area in Cuyahoga County where is is okay to a Republican) instead of Cleveland proper.

I also got a 14% salary increase by moving up here, so things are bad everywhere. Or maybe I was jsut being paid that poorly at my previous place of employment.
