But I know they played LSU twice. They tied in 1987 at LSU, and Ohio State came from behind miraculously in 1988 in Columbus and won.

I'm pretty sure Ohio State played Oklahoma, because I've heard stories of a last-second field goal to beat Ohio State by the Oklahoma kicker.

I'm about 70% sure that Ohio State played Oregon State. I'd guess 1986. But maybe that's Oregon. Therefore, I'm about 35% sure Ohio State played Oregon in 1986.

I've never heard of Mississippui State.

Ahhhhh...good memories. I went to the 1988 LSU game at the 'Shoe. Great comeback. I was late for my job at a pizza shop but it was well worth it.

Yes, that was in 1977 I believe. Don't forget we played them again at Norman in 1983 and put a beating on them. That was the beginning of the end for Sooner RB Marcus DuPree. Another great memory.

Correct. We played Oregon in '86. As for Oregon State, we played them in '84 (I was there). That game was memorable for two reasons. First, we came back from a big deficit to win. Second, the spark for the comeback was a freshman linebacker named Spielman seeing his first action as a Buckeye. A legend was born!
