Still needs to touch the ball more IMO.

I would still like to see him used as a decoy more...i was happy to see we did it a few times against Cal...but its pretty much everytime he comes onto the field he is getting the ball

It's a little scary to think we still haven't hit full potential on offense yet. I can't wait to potentially see Hyde and Wilson in the backfield at the same time. How do you defend that?!

I thought Wilson was utilized perfectly on Saturday. Got him in the position to do what he does best and he capitalized. After watching the replay, he was actually out there quite often and didn't get the ball. I particularly like the formation with Hall and Wilson both out there to run the triple option...quite dangerous.

Something I keep telling myself - there is no way we have seen anywhere near the full playbook for him. I seriously think we have just scratched the surface; we are not showing all of our cards with Desoto until we need to.

The first four games weren't particularly challenging so you know the play book has been simple. Wilson has had a big impact with limited carries. He hasn't been thrown to much and that will create big scoring opportunities. But Smith has ben the deep target. Still simple play calling.

So I think people are beginning to come around the fact that Wilson is an Urban Meyer running back rather than a WR where many pegged him at.

I don't think there is an "urban Meyer" RB. It seems you're just basing this on the RBs he had at UF, he also had some bigger RBs at Utah and BG. Elliott, and even Ball could be considered Meyer RBs. But honestly, any guy that can move the chains will get PT, whether it's a combo of big, bruiser or smaller scatback. I still think that Wilson could be used in a hybrid role, and there's no reason to not picture him at WR/RB hybrid option in the future a la Jordan hall.

Late in the game against SDSU he was playing in the slot running routes as a WR. I think he's working on fine tuning as a WR in practice but they're using him mostly as a RB in-game because it's the easiest way to get him the ball in space right now. And he's got to have the ball.
