HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

Day is undoubtably > Franklin.

Day is also undoubtably < Tress or Urban

It's not even a question

I’ll question it. At least once its all said in done.

We are one kick or one 5 yard completion from Day winning a natty.

Tress was the fucking man but without looking it up has a very similar record in top 5 matchups. He had #4 team that lost to TX and PSU as well as the two NC losses.

Yeah he was 9-1. But Day has already faced more top 5 UM teams then Tress, who went 1-1 vs top 5 Michigan.

So Tress > Day for sure but I am just saying it’s possible that Day can realistically finish in the same stratosphere.

People can disagree. People can be angry and vent. Let them. We don't have to feel the need to shame everyone who has a different opinion.

If I had to guess a lot of people are starting to come around to the idea that Ryan Day may not be the guy. Maybe Day will make some (more) big changes this offseason and win the whole fucking thing next year with a more veteran oline and qb. Who tf knows? I'm still having fun watching and hoping. Y'all do you. Cheers

Tress sucked against the top teams for the most part and that is why I was very critical of him...except he was 9-1 in The Game and beat Miami for a NC. He also won a Rose Bowl vs a favored Oregon team and a Sugar Bowl against a favored SEC team

Day on the other hand....is a really nice guy

So yeah, if I squint real hard I can almost see the point.

Keep shining that moral NC from last year my man.

In the meantime, the real world moves on and it's a fuck or walk kind of existence.

Seems like a lot of guys want to share in the magnificence of Day's steak knife collection.

To each his own. I, for one, do not truck with rest stop blow job queens.

Winning is good. Losing is very bad. It's just that simple.

The playoffs and Michigan cheating has definitely exposed Day to a lot more top 5 competition. But no one will care unless he starts winning.

Imo you keep swinging with someone as consistent as Day and wait for the breakthrough, but it's a lot to ask when the year ends without any accomplishment and probably a meaningless bowl game.

I can't stop watching OSU, but at this point none of this is worth it. Hasn't been fun for years and I'm not interested in having these same discussions for another season as OSU wins meaningless games waiting to finally play ones that count. It's all meaningless.

Maybe, if we are really lucky and positive with what we post, Ryan Day might deliver us someday.....let's bow our heads in uniformity and compliance.

If that doesn't work, maybe pray to the Easter Bunny? His track record is on par with Day's.

Had this revelation earlier. I think things will change in the coming years but the current state of OSU (which is good) and the Big Ten (which is bad) means OSU plays so many meaningless games against overmatched opponents. Three game season this year and the team’s final record was 2-1.

Just saw this summary on TV: Day is 1-6 versus CFP Top 5 teams and 54-1 versus everyone else.

:madgirl:

It's a testament to his undying stubbornness. He's great when he plays a team that can't keep him from doing what he wants to do. But when he plays a team that can, he just keeps trying to jam a square peg into a round hole and staring in disbelief when it won't fit.

He would rather lose his way than win another way and he continues to show that to everyone time and time again, yet for some reason, most of the base just chooses not to believe him.
