HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

Cannot believe Day is still taking so much sh*t after dominating a good psu that many of you predicted he won’t.

What is the talk about the only constant is coaching? Kidding, right? Just compare the coaching roster.

Day might be the unluckiest coach out there. I love Tressel, but he could’ve easily dropped a game and miss the NC in 02. Without that, how would you view him? He’d be 0-2 in NC. Sure he beat ttun, but I was in attendance in aa in 05, he could have easily lost that game, even with all the Troy and Gonzo magic.

Urbana did great things. But anyone saying all the victories over ttun is domination is not thinking straight. JT’s spot could be determined not enough.

Harbough is not a bad coach. He led veteran teams that beat our young teams among a lot of turmoil of the past several years. Those who said it is unacceptable to lose to ttun clear has memory loss. What was Windy’s record in the game? Anyone?

The other team practice too, you know.

Back in the Tressel years, I loved reading game analysis on here. Those analysis were in-depth and full of wisdom with humility.

People just forgot even a team like Purdue could dominate our beloved buckeyes on some odd day. That’s how sports work.

Even with the elite defense this year, I’m not sure we could win up north. Health, inopportune events like injuries, ref misses, stupid penalties (20 year old testosterone filled men, go figure), or just pure luck, any of those could sway a close game.

In this intolerant world, I just wish a dominating win over a top 10 opponent can shut people up for a day or two. Was I asking too much?

It’s probably because defense won that game, not Day’s offense

Took my son out on a trip right after watching the game. I hope coach Day enjoyed the W at least as much as I did.

Shut out to our boys. Hope they get time to enjoy as well.

Good luck to Devin and other injured players. Recover soon.

Just fight on…

What happened to you, Jax?

Let’s just enjoy a W. If you’re right, it won’t last.

I enjoyed the shit out of it. I also am not sitting here hoping I am "right" about anything. I hate to break it to you but no one is all right or all wrong. Somewhere in the middle, reality lies.

Nothing has happened to me. I am just at the point where I call out people who can't deal with the reality of differing opinions existing at the same time.

Statements like yours are essentially saying "everyone who doesn't hold the same view I do, needs to shut up". If you think that's ok, then have at it but I'm never going to sit back and take that even for something as inconsequential as football.

In light of this new evidence I'm scaling back some of my Day criticism for failures in The Game. They were not fair fights. Fucking cheaters.

Not that @Jaxbuck needs a defender in any way, shape, or form.
The last two November endings have been absolute shit to me, and, yes, I'm one of those that places The Game over any other part of an entire Buckeye season. It's my subjective opinion, and I recognize that it's my own. That being said, I can both like Ryan Day tremendously and yet, still feel completely chapped at those two failures. I'm not to the point of it being fireable, but unpalatable nonetheless and leaving repeated questions and wondering (especially with the effort, innovation, and drive that was demonstrated against Georgia).
So, with the news coming out, sure, it could impact my feelings. It has also crossed my mind that if Ohio State won those two games, then would that have lessened the credence of the sign stealing scandal? I don't know and I'm not going any further in my wondering.
Nonetheless, just beat those motherless, arrogant fucks. Get. It. Done.

I've already started scouting the Crow to be eaten

There's no crow. People commented on what they saw, which was ugly. I didn't notice anyone here pointing out the cheating stuff at the time.

But like most adults, when presented with new information I reconsider my opinions. The two Games were not fair competitions. Fuck TTUN.

Agreed there is no crow on the menu, we played like shit two years in a row in the game that truly matters. But nobody pointed out cheating because nobody had a clue it was going on, and I think that is the point at the end of your post.

At this point in time, *ichigan got busted and there is no way this will happen again before our game. We can just change up the play signals and bring a gun to a gun fight at the end of November. But last year I don't think we should have lost to those fucks even if we handed them our playbook and told them what we were running every play...not saying they shouldn't get nailed for cheating, but I am not excusing that loss. Just need to beat them this year with a level playing field.
