HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

Sour grapes man.

Big time

JH has a physical team that wins in the trenches. You can’t deny that. And you can’t get that by cheating

You just can’t
One can Argue their previous cheating got them to over the hump and to the next level.

2022 I'd buy I'm not sure 2021 would have they just wanted that one more and we got complacent and got it handed to us.

Both of these can be true. I don’t think anyone is denying the physicality (I threw up a little using that term) of Jimmahs teams.

Also, you can’t deny the impact of the cheating in 21 and 22 as well as this season while they were still doing it.

I think it’s freaking hilarious that people are willing to absolutely dismiss what an advantage cheating can be. Sour grapes, not in the least bit. Fact, Jimbo has always had “tough” teams. Fact, until he started cheating, he had limited success.

Please tell me how you cheat your way into being physically superior at the point of attack

Be specific

Don’t look in the rear view mirror man. I’m talking about the state of his program RIGHT NOW and how cheating makes no difference in their physical dominance.

Right, but that statement was made after Jimmah lost back in what 2019? It wasn’t in reference to the state of today’s programs. And yes we are all painfully aware of the issues we have in the trenches right now and probably for the foreseeable season or two.

Not hard to be specific. If you know which way pressure is coming, which way lineman may be stunting/filling gaps, which way additional blitzes may be coming from, it is very easy to cheat your way and call a play that would give the lineman the physical advantage/angles to block the play. I played OL and I know that if I knew where the blitzes were coming from or which way a lineman was going to slant etc., that would have given me an advantage.

So what you saw tonight against a team always legit in the trenches Bama

That was due to cheating?

Yes or no?

Correct me if I am wrong but we are talking about TOSU correct and not Bama. Your entire argument is mentioning cheating is “sour grapes” and I’ve given specifics as to how cheating can impact physicality at the point of attack. Which shows that it’s not “sour grapes “ at all.

TCUN is almost always “legit in the trenches” as well but until they got the cheating advantage, it didn’t lead to dominance and winning.
