Help need....25th wedding anniversary ideas

This August will be my our 25th weedding anniversary for my wife and me. I just wanted to ask the board if they had the opportunity to take there significant other some place for a week where would they go?
We have already been to Hawaii so I am looking for somewhere where we could go for a week and have a good time. Any activities while there would be helpful too.....

I'd probably wait until January or February and then schedule a trip to the Yucatan - Cancun, Merida, Riviera Maya, maybe a day trip to Belize. Lots of Mayan history, lots of nice beaches, plenty of golf, snorkeling, plenty of margaritas.

Quebec City and/or Nova Scotia- QC is the closest thing to Europe without leaving the continent. It is also an exceptionally clean, safe city for walking about.

My wife and I took an southbound Alaskan Cruise for our 25th anniversary in 2007. The fact that we ended up in Seattle the same day that the Buckeyes were playing U-Dub was just a coincidence.

I would also suggest Italy as a destination. If you're able to go after Labor Day, there will be less crowds in Rome, Florence, and Venice. Those cities are all very easy to spend at least 3 days in - the settings are rather romantic, and the food is generally excellent.

A Mediterranean cruise is also an option, with either a Spain/Italy or a Greece/Turkey itinerary.

I've been on a Nile river cruise, and while that was a very interesting trip, I don't think I'd pick it for a romantic 25th anniversay.

I like the suggestions of the Virgin Islands, Canadian Rockies, and South Africa (I haven't been there).
