I know I should probably post this in another location, but I know it will get read here, versus in the general area. (Thanks Mods)

There is a non-profit company that I have recently been exposed to looking for a part-time web programmer. It's a small startup company. They are attracting funding both from the government and private individuals (ex. College Players, community leaders)

The person should know how to develop password protected pages, serve large streaming videos (sports), know the difference between the diffrent video formats, integrate printable pages, dynamically develop pages, etc.

If there is anyone one that is interested or talented enough to help, please let me know and I will put you in contact with the main guys. It would be a paid position.
 
HH, how is this related to OSU football? If the "non-profit company" will have Buckeye streaming videos, I can see this post being relevent. However, unless you can supply more info on how this effect Buckeye football, we'll have to move this.

Not being the forum Gestapo, but if we allow you to advertise an employment opening here, where will it stop?

How about if he guarantees one Buckeye streaming video, and we leave it up for a day?

I would need to freshen up on a few areas to take a job like this... and am not available until this summer...

plus I'm more of a graphic designer now (I used to be compsci, but my future is in design)

I see nothing wrong with HH posting this, he has given quite a bit to this board that is for sure. I see your point Mil, and the majority of the time I would agree with you here. But, I never see a problem with a Buckeye offering another Buckeye a job opportunity, you have to take care of each other. :biggrin:
