High Point vs. Ohio State, Saturday, December 29, Noon, BTN

Only thing in doubt is the cover -22.5.

This team has some wild swings between awful and great, but in the end they are largely handling expectations. Defense brings stability, while the offense has its moments. That’s what we’re in for all year.

Free throw shooting is going to kill the cover.

This team isn't great and will likely finish middle of the pack in the BIG. But I love their hustle and unselfishness. Woods was another great transfer. Unselfish glue type guy...such an important pick up for Chris. And the freshmen are hard nosed, team first kids. I am highly optimistic for the future if Buckeye basketball.

Define "middle of the pack"

There are 14 teams in the conference, I would expect them to finish lower than 5th at this point. Could be as high as 3rd or 4th if they score a couple of upsets and win almost all of the games they are expected to win.

It was another workmanlike win for the Buckeyes. Great to put nonconference behind them and be 12-1 entering 2019.

I am guessing 6th. The lack of offense is going to cost us some games against teams we should beat.

I made an error. My prior post omitted the key word "not" ... as in I do not expect them to finish lower than 5th. 6th, while less likely than a higher finish (especially with ties in standings being common), IMO has a real chance, though. Clearly they were not trying to maximize the blowout margin today.

i don't think there will be much of a difference between 3th and 9th. there is going to be a glut of teams with 7-11 through 11-7 records. osu going 13-5 or 8-10 seems about as equally likely. fortunately for osu, the latter record will still be good enough for a tournament bid -- provided that the remaining wins aren't all against the basement teams.
Yeah I agree completely with this. Middle will be pretty solid and not much difference

The only problem with your post is that B1G teams play 20 league games this season.
