How many QB snaps will Henton get vs. TSUN?

Anyone who didn't vote for zero, I need some of what you're smoking. Seriously, think about this with your Tressel-brain for just a minute.

Let's just say for a minute that Henton remains on the team for the year (that looks likely, but not a given). Do you really think that Tressel would move him back up to #3 on the depth chart right away? Very doubtful.

Down two scores, middle of the third quarter and Michigan bottling the buck's offense up. How do they spread them out? Not with Boeckman, not with Robbie. Here comes Henton off the bench and you can hear Ron English moaning in the background.... If you're going back in Tressel history you might want to recall the bowl game with SC with Krenzel at the controls and Bellisari in the dog house. Back to the wall, Tressel did what?

Very true. But, Bellisari was a senior captain and it was his last game. Plus he was a coop recruit. Not to mention this was pre-MoC

He was also a QB who could run and Tress has always favored that, at least that's what I've heard from people who followed him at YSU. If the offense can't move in Ann Arbor and he's down 10 or more points I don't see Tressel not thinking back to all the trouble Michigan had against OSU, MSU and Oregon. Three teams that could spread you out and take away your smash mouth advantage.

Anyone still think AH is going to get any touches during The Game?

He hasn't even smelled garbage time; there's no way he's playing.

The vBookie is lucky he shut this one down. We'd run him out of town with this bet.

I would highly recommend catching up on Henton's thread.

Until the court case is resolved, he doesn't play, despite the apparent ridiculous nature of the incident. The prosecution is trying to hold that absence over his head, since it doesn't go to trial until UM week. It may be dismissed by then if not sooner, given the documentation of the absurd arrest.

In all fairness, Tressel said before the bowl game that Bellisari was out of the dog house. He said that he wouldn't start the game, but he'd get a chance to play. It wasn't solely because they were getting smoked that they went to Bellisari. That may be the reason he stuck with Bellisari - maybe he was planning on playing Krenzel more. We'll never know.

The vBookie didn't "shut this one down". The vbet opened on 9/24, and stayed open until 10/5, the way it was originally scheduled.
