Why not? This is a message board. You could print out every post that's ever been made here and not be able to sell it for a quarter. There's nothing on the line here folks. Questioning the coach isn't a deadly sin.

Seriously, trust the coaches already.

No one is more acutely aware of the substitution situation than Thad Matta.

No one is more aware of what he has on the bench than Thad Matta.

No coach at Ohio State other than JT himself has earned the right to run his program his way more than Thad Matta.

It's not like we have Joe Paterno as a basketball coach who barely knows the names of the kids on his team here.

Do you always insult the people you disagree with?

You asked, I answered.

Here's the deal. Discussion is fine. Your posts are just a thinly veiled rant. Wrong site for that.

BTW, it was mentioned during the game by the announcer that John Wooden usually went seven deep with his UCLA teams. Do you think that John Wooden didn't understand the NEEDS of his team? I'm sure John Wooden wished he'd rested his players more when...wait..his teams did alright at tournament time, didn't they?

Amazing how well you think you know me when we've never met.

We've all seen your kind here - usually the ones who don't get banned are the ones who actually attempt to READ and UNDERSTAND what they are being told.

Newbies who come on here and immediately start second-guessing the coaches are usually frowned upon and then eventually asked if they like horses.

Wow, lol, you are very but hurt over MY opinion. My question is, why are you judging others opinions yet spouting out yours as if you are so high and mighty and correct?

Remember man, you may think your opinions are correct while you judge others - but it doesn't make you correct so enjoy a solid talk about basketball and quit puffing up your thoughts.

We're 38-3 in football and basketball this academic year. No other university in the country can match that record. That's not an opinion. That's a fact.

I don't have a lot of patience with people who don't appreciate that mark and look for reasons to complain all game long. Sue me.

I think if the main guys on the team got more rest they probably could have reduced the turnovers by 33.3% tonight.

You know, from 3 all the way down to 2.

Looks like I'm definitely in the wrong place folks. I thought this was like most of the other team message boards I've been a part of, where critical thinking is encouraged and forms the basis for discussion.

Enjoy your cult! :)

Quite ironic that when I used facts and numbers for my case you were quick to shoot it down and then bash my thoughts in your post to follow. Now you are using numbers and expect me to be like "ok, wow, he used numbers, he MUST be correct." ?

Problem is man, you don't have patience. If someone's thoughts dont mirror yours, you have to make your case known again and bash the other case. All that does is make you look kind of childish.

Are you going to acknowledge the post that said that Smith and Sibert actually played the last 1:17?

Not griping at all, thought this was a basketball forum - to have basketball discussions with people who has different opinions?
UF hardly ran through the SEC in '06 or '07. In fact, in 2006 and 2007 at this time, they were in a major swoon and had just lost to a bad Vandy team by 15 points or something like that in '07. Point being, sometimes a difficult road through your conference galvanizes a team going into the tourney...

After Illinois started 8 of 9 on 3-pointers, they were 3 of their last 12.

Two of those were by McCamey - one where Sully showed off the screen, got him to stop dribbling, then left him to find Tisdale and McCamey hit an NBA 3. The second one by McCamey was also on a high screen, and Sully had a hand in his face when he hit it. I don't remember their other 3-pointer in the second half - but tOSU didn't get burned on 3s in the last 20 minutes. So some combination of halftime adjustments, more focus on defense, and Illinois returning to normalcy allowed the lead to grow.

Along with David Lighty getting 7 points on 3 quick steals - it's hard to beat that for efficiency.
