Illinois 34, Missouri 40 (final)

Assume Juice goes back to QB as soon as possible. Tough for McGee, knowing if he won that game their might be some qb controversy, now he rides the bench for 3 more years most likely.

I don't necessarily agree with that. McGee brought that team into the game. Willams has probably had all of the snaps with first team thus far. It's definetly Juice's to lose, but if he starts playing mediocre, Mcgee has proved himself.... and can step right in.

McGee brought them back into the game late, and he almost put them out of it early with his fumbles. Works both ways. He played well overall but, better than Williams? Hardly.

Juice showed why people rate him so highly in the 2nd quarter, the same drive he got injured on actually. It was 3rd and 2, he dropped back, avoided a tackle, rolled right, avoided another tackle, cut back across almost the entire field while avoiding another defender, and while running left and getting drilled by an end, managed to throw a bullet right into Brian Gamble's chest 22 yards down the field. It was Troy Smithesque.

I think McGee did really well, but I wouldn't throw praise on him too quick or say he's better than Juice. Fumbling 3 times isn't exactly what you want to see in your QB. Especially when one of those was on the goal-line. I think he did well, but I don't see the hate for Juice. Watching that game one thing really popped out to me: their OLine is not very good.

Man that throw was awesome. Brought a tear to my eye for a second... until the announcers ruined it for me, calling it Major Harris-esque.

My wife's family is from Nebraska, and I have to admit that is Missouri is supposed to take the Big 12 North title this year; then it's going to be a sad story for that conference in general. I find it interesting that the Big 10 gets all this media shit when the Big 12 basically amounts to the Big 2: Oklahoma and Texas.

Oh well.

Im gonna go with closer to 5 or 6. Western Illinois, Syracuse, Indiana and Ball State should be wins. Even on the road for the latter 2. I think they should be able to beat Northwestern and have a shot at upsetting Iowa or Minnesota. They have a good amount of talent there, and guys with big play capabilty.

I don't think beating Minnesota will be an upset.

Your right, I think they could win at Minny. I wasn't trying to give them too much credit yet. But, I would be willing to go out on a limb and predict that they will be bowl eligable.
