I never realized OSU fans actually hate Illinois, I know historically speaking it's kind of, sort of, a rivalry. But for as shitty as we've been and that we only play every 3 years or so now I just assumed we weren't on your radar anymore. Note (I'm only 24, so I wasn't around for the 88'-94' period mentioned earlier) so the Illini have only beaten the Buckeyes 3 times in my life. Maybe that distorts my perspective.

Click on the ped state thread if you really want to drink in our ability to hate, and they're not even our rival, more an object of our disgust. Our rival is the school coached by the semi-functioning retard up north.

We do things a little differently here than most other boards. Instead of creating a million different threads about everything, we try (and fail, and post pics of dildos) to keep everything related to a specific team in the same thread.

It comes largely from a few Illini fans showing up here after the 2007 game and showed their ass. One, in particular, was so.gloriously delusional, much of.the thread is about mocking his proclamations. If you're curious, read back and find "thakid101" posts. It's spectacular.

Eh, it’s mostly tongue-in-cheek now. We actually had a pretty good Illini fan around here for a while (@OrangeRoughy), but he disappeared towards the end of the Zooker. We have a smattering of pretty solid opposing fans from programs like Nebraska, Georgia, LSU and Florida that post pretty regularly. We’re a pretty welcoming bunch if you can handle a little ball-busting, and you’ll fit right in if you despise those shit weasels up north.

Perhaps I can fill the void! :) Never liked UM but have to say I am thankful for their ex QB right now.

@LovelandBuckeye I'll keep that in mind.:lol:
