Under your scenario....

The next 500 national champions would come from the following group: Southern Cal, Texas, Florida, Florida State, and Miami.

Ohio State would win the Big Ten about 80% of the time, but would hate to schedule in-state rivals.

Voyd Carr would be XXXVIIIoyd Carr in about 35 years....

UM could close its Department of Kinesiology.

Prescott Burgess, III, will sign with Dayton after the Flyers' head coach promises him that he can play safety at 240 pounds.

No more red-eye flights from Toeldo to Los Angeles.

Ted Ginn, Sr. would save a lot gas money on his annual bus tour.

Notre Dame would be lucky to win two games a year, and Navy (from the talent-rich state of Maryland) wouldn't be one of them.

Boosters in Knoxville will have fewer "miscellaneous expenses" on their tax returns.

School likes Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska would apply for D-III status.

Buckeye fans would still complain about Tressel's inability to "close" with OOS recruits.
