My Norton keeps popping up saying "an intrusion attempt by 62.68.78.34 was blocked. Application path System"
Risk Name: NMap Null Scan
Attacking Computer: 62.68.78.34, 1583
Traffic Description: TCP, Port 1583

Any ideas on what this is and what I should do. It keeps popping up every 5 minutes or less.

Get a good blocker, Norton is doing what it should. Also you might want to delete your cookies and check at Symantic.com to inquire about that particular notice.
