Don't be sorry Clarity, you didn't do anything wrong :) I appreciate everything you do. Was just curious about the switch. I'm all for waiting for a product that will have as few bugs as possible. Thanks for the info

Don't let it go, it's one of the main reasons we'll make the move.

I just meant 21 beta bug-patching versions. Basically they take it beta, put it out in the wild (to the customers willing to use their boards as test beds) and then patch bugs as they come in.

21 rounds of that is a lot, but my understanding is that much of the code is written fresh, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Either way, for every round they go through, that just means fewer headaches for us when we switch.

Sorry for the delay!

Ahhh just release the version...what could go wrong! Signed Scout.com

Responsive design means the site works at or near full capacity in any browser, mobile included. Because it's the site itself, it's faster and more stable than any third party app would be.

What I'm saying is, now that we're on this software and not crippled by the limitations of vBulletin, I'd rather pull out my own teeth than introduce a third party bridge like Tapatalk or ForumRunner. They'd offer slower and less complete access while introducing unnecessary complications.

Not even a custom built application would offer what responsive design does.

This thread exists from the vBulletin days, a period in which responsive was impossible, and an app or third party bridge was necessary to provide reasonable mobile support.

If we're missing some sort of mobile feature or functionality, I invite anyone to toss out requests and I'm happy to take a look.

It took me a few days to get used to the new system (prefer old bpSpy that didn't show all old posts from the same thread, just the most recent one. New one shows the the most recent posts even if they're all in the same thread. But that's VERY minor), but I absolutely love the way BP looks and responds on my iPhone. Never liked mobile sites, they always feel stripped down and lack all the access, never have used an app for a forum.

I'm happy with the state of the site!
