Isaiah Pead (official thread)

He gets my vote as Ohio's #1 runningback...

Wow can that kid cut. I question his ability to be an effective inside runner, but he appears to have the size, certainly has the vision speed and cutting part down. He could probably be a good receiver at the next level as well.

Definitely needs to get to camp however.

Wow...Should be interesting to see what his listed size at...

He is doing that against D-4 competition so it is hard to really get a read on him, but he is pulling away from anyone chasing him and you have to love his ability to cut, that like hop cut that he uses to get away from tacklers...Also for a smaller back he sure does keep his legs churning on contact...

The guy is a beast, he is easily the best back from the city in the last 6 years, including Haw of Indipendence. He has what haw lacked.... vision. But his speed is on par with Haw's too. If it means anything , everyone calls him baby Reggie Bush.

By OhioVarsity...Pead talks about his game and says OSU has been recruiting him since his sophmore year. He is also hearing from Penn State, Illinois, Minnesota, Southern Cal and others.

The kid is a tailback all the way, once the coaches see his tape, that is no doubt where he will play. I also think that it is his preference.

Also worthy of note, he had a total of 29 TD's on the offensive side of the ball. This kid stays in the endzone, would be a nice catch for OSU. I think he'll receive an offer after summer camp.
