Jameis Winston (QB New Orleans Saints)

So hours after being stopped by police, held at gunpoint, and having their bb gun confiscated, they went back to their apartment to get more bb guns and proceeded to do $4,200 worth of damage! Of course nobody wanted to press charges for that either.

When the apartment shoot-up story broke before last season I struggled to wrap my head around the idea of accidentally doing damage to property and then hanging around to do even more damage and shoot out more windows. I know when I was younger I tended to stop doing stupid shit once I broke the first window. Knowing that they were held at gunpoint hours earlier and still did it just blows my mind. The stupid runs thick.

Notre Dame-Florida State: 'Catholics vs. Criminoles'

catholicsvscriminoles2014_large2.jpg

"Catholics vs. Convicts" was 26 years ago. So how about Catholics vs. Criminoles?

That's what one unofficial shirt is billing this October's Notre Dame-Florida State showdown, poking fun at Heisman winner Jameis Winston's offseason crab capers.

What exactly in the fuck does one have to do to be actually arrested in that town?

I'm pretty sure that being a black guy who isn't a star on the foosball team and doing anything in the Jameis catalog would more than be enough. Christ, brother would have probably died in a hail of bullets just for the free soda caper alone much less the rapin' of the white wimmens.

Having never been to Tallahassee, I imagine that city to be run just the town from Porky's was back in the day.

Edit: The movie was set in that great state.
The entire panhandle of florida is referred to as south Alabama for a reason. Tallahassee is a town full of good ole boys. The only true southern part of florida. I had to go to Tallahassee twice and pensecola once.
So yes you are right.

There are people in the filthiest slum in Calcutta who go to bed starving every night thanking their own personal deity that they don't live in Tallahassee.

"Backwater, inbred, shit hole" doesn't even start to do it justice.

The fact that it is the capital city of the Sunshine State is probably the most fitting thing in the history of things.

When the apartment shoot-up story broke before last season I struggled to wrap my head around the idea of accidentally doing damage to property and then hanging around to do even more damage and shoot out more windows. I know when I was younger I tended to stop doing stupid [Mark May] once I broke the first window. Knowing that they were held at gunpoint hours earlier and still did it just blows my mind. The stupid runs thick.

But is it stupid when you know you'll get away with it?
We're acting as if it's stupid because we'd expect to get punished -- but it's clear they all knew there would never be any punishment.

It's amazed me how easily ESPiN has been able to transition talk from Ray Rice controversy to FSU this entire week.
I wonder if a single person there even has a weird feeling about it.

But I thin the best transition was from Ray Rice straight to a CFB story about the suspension of an OU kid who hasn't been convicted of anything yet. And the commentators implied this was a bad idea, and the OU coach should only take action if the courts found him guilty. Ummm... lol...
And then there was Spielman on another show who went on about how coaches should be pro-active, which I agree with... and the rest of the talking heads nodded in agreement. But it was a different tune when it was their heisman favorite, wasn't it?

That would be "Lower Alabama."

When I was in Nazi* school at Pcola, we all called it FloBama. It's definitely a cesspit... but there were some pretty amazing spring break parties.

*NATTC to be technically correct; but as its known as the UCMJ capital, and the acronym is close ... it went by Nazi.

Whatever else you say about LA, the sugar-white beaches there (especially in and around Destin) are amazing.

One of the best Thanksgivings I ever spent was with friends at their beach house in Fort Walton. Cool weather, so beachcombing and bonfires were the rule of the day, but great times.
