I don't think Buckeye fans hate them as much...I think they hate them quite a bit more.

Ringer isn't going to be the difference maker in this'll be Hoyer. At least where MSU is concerned. Overall, the big difference maker in this game will be Pryor.

But they don't envy them nearly as much, which gets twisted together in a strange mix of hatred and longing.
Yup. Good Brian has to show up for MSU to prevail, they could even do so if OSU shuts down Ringer most of the day. Dell & Cunningham have a lot of potential if both ends of the passes hold up (something they do not do consistently)

Every time I hear about Ringer.. I am reminded how badly VG/Biatch wanted us to get this kid in high school... but he wouldn't be this great sharing with Beanie...

Javon will be very motivated this week... because he too wanted OSU...

That is what everyone has said. We wanted him, he wanted us, didn't happen due to academics.

I know what you are trying to do though....
you are trying to say that we passed on Ringer for some reason other than academics and made up some lame excuse. And said Lame excuse will fuel Ringer's fire this weekend. That's just not the case. Ringer will give 110% because he is agreat player, not because he is playing OSU.

Both parties have moved on...why can't you?

Good. Now move on. I already split this garbage once and Im about to do it again. Anything further will be considered got your answer numerous times and then even got presented the way you wanted to hear it.

    Drop it.

Just for the record.... Ringer's career numbers versus Ohio State: 50 rushes, 192 yards (3.84 average), 0 touchdowns; 7 receptions, 24 yards (3.43 average), 0 touchdowns; 0 wins, 4 losses (although he didn't play in the 2006 game due to injury).

And every year, pre-game statements from him about how he was going to make Ohio State pay for "passing" on him....

The way Little Animal play Javon the first couple of series reminded me of when Sam Huff used to play for the Giants and Jim Brown was with the Browns. Huff would mirror Jim Brown on every down. Most the time it worked but a couple times they use Brown as a decoy and it would leave the middle wide open. It was interesting to watch JL yesterday because that is almost what he was doing and it reminded me so much of the war between Brown and Huff.

My answer is an answer I’ve had for years — running back Javon Ringer out of Dayton Chamiade-Julienne. Ringer was a 3-star tailback in the 2005 class and was very nearly a Buckeye, but knee and grade issues apparently made him too much of a gamble. If you ever saw his highlights from back then, it was clear he was good enough to play at Ohio State.

Of course, if you were to watch his highlights today, they would probably be too grainy for you to actually see them.

Instead of OSU, Ringer ended up at Michigan State where he rushed for over 4,300 yards in his career.

Ringer would have paired well with Antonio Pittman in 2005 and then trio’ed well with Pittman and freshman Beanie Wells. Then after the 2006 season, he and Wells would have formed a very formidable duo. He would have also been able to step up for Wells when he went down in 2008, provided he was healthy at the time himself, of course.
