Jimbo Fisher (ex-HC Texas A&M Aggies)

Jimbo has reached the point of no return in backing Winston. He really can't afford to sit him for any potential or actual violation because he has proclaimed Jameis as a saint. His only hope of having a job when this is over is praying the NCAA finds nothing on this or any other violation. He knows FSU won't do anything. He knows the Tallahassee PD won't do anything. He's banking on the NCAA pulling a Cam Newton on this. If the NCAA does find anything, FSU will have to fire him to lessen penalties, That's the only way anything happens to Jimbo.

It's pretty clear that the football program and boosters are running that university every bit as much as Bobby Lauder and Pat Dye are running Auburn. I truly believe that the President left for ped aggy after only a few years because he realized that he was a powerless figurehead, looked around and said dealing with the cult is better than this shitshow.

Clearly the S.S. Seminole is too tight of a ship for that to happen.

Winston might be long gone by then, but something will eventually stick to Jimbo.

Jimbo Fisher ‘thought the name of the game was to keep winning’

When the latest College Football Playoff rankings were released last night, more than a few eyebrows were raised when it was revealed that one-loss Oregon had leapfrogged unbeaten Florida into the No. 2 spot behind top-ranked Mississippi State. Two of those eyebrows, not surprisingly, belonged to the Seminoles’ head coach.

On the weekly ACC coaches teleconference, Jimbo Fisher was, obviously, asked about getting jumped while still in the midst of a 25-game winning streak. Just as obviously, Fisher wasn’t understanding the turn of events.

“I thought the name of the game was to keep winning?” the head coach asked rhetorically. “I don’t know what they are trying to say or what’s going on.”

I kind of have to agree with Jimbo here; however, apparently "running up the score" and/or "style points" is back in vogue.
