Johnny Manziel (unemployed)

My friend from A&M said " looks like Johnny Footballs head got a little large for his helmet" ...my reply "get him a larger helmet and have him sign the smaller one for me. I promise top dollar for it. ".....too soon??

It's never too soon to make an Aggie stare longingly into his jizz jar and wish for the days of Mike Sherman

I love the argument now being presented, by various talking heads, that Johnny may not have been properly educated by the A&M Compliance Department regarding this issue.

Seriously, with all that is out there on this subject and what has happened to others, how could you not know that you can't do anything relative to making money off your name, paraphernalia, etc.

Hey, if it works for the mayor of San Diego and his sexual harassment charges, why not give it a try here?

George Costanza also tried that defense after he had sex with the cleaning lady on his desk too....... "Was that wrong? Should I have not done that??......If someone had just told me that sort of thing was frowned upon........"

I don't buy this for a second. Wasn't he the one that went on the Dan Patrick Show and talked about how he always checked with the compliance department before going to his NBA games, concerts, etc.? And all of a sudden he's feigning ignorance on this? BS.

Especially considering t-shirt gate and his family's move to trademark Johnny Football ten months ago. Manziel knows exactly what he can and cannot do.

The "smoking gun" picture shows Johnny Football signing pictures.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at here, maybe, but I don't get why this is proof of anything...?

Only thing i can think is its a stack of the same photo's being signed in a hotel room.... only means one thing, they are being sold.

If you're going to make this argument then just let boosters bid for players.

If selling signatures is allowed, HS recruits could cut deals to sell their signatures to a "broker" contingent upon signing their LOI. Kids would get a sense what schools provided the best market potential for their signatures- tOSU would likely be an attractive choice.

You mean like LeBron did? And then beat OHSAA in court?

I think high school kids don't have to worry as long as they're not signing an NCAA contract. Only applies to baseball now as both the NBA and NFL have ruled out anything less than a year in college.

100% EVIDENTS

 Exactly. Probably just some kid staying in the same hotel that happened upon Johnny Football. Hey Johnny, mind signing these forty 8x10 glossy photos? Yeah, they're all identical. I'm just a huge fan. Get real. Would it hold up in court? Of course not. But to act like it's anything else is SEC homerism.

Usually when you purchase an autographed picture, helmet, or jersey from a dealer or broker, the seller will take a picture of the merchandise being autographed as proof of authenticity. This kind of picture means one thing, the broker who gave him a stack of professional pictures to signed took this as proof for when it gets sold.
