K Mike Nugent (All American, Lou Groza Winner, National Champion)

Mike Nugent Jersey

I was just in longs bookstore on campus and they had a bunch of unnofficial mike nugent #85 jerseys...the lady working there saw me looking at them and said that Nike was sending in an official 'authentic' shipment in the next couple of days. This is the first I've seen these available (unless I've completely missed the boat on this one)... it just shows to go how great an impact he has made, way to go nuge.

Being a Defensive minded OSU fan myself I can never imagine myself wearing a kickers number. Don't get me wrong , Nugent is a great BUCKEYE and is one of the best in the game today as well as any day, and I love the kids class and heart, but he's still a kicker. haha. So in short WestOgma if ya find a #36 that would be great, but don't buy me #85 for Christmas this year ok ?? Just scratch me off your list. My wife would laugh at me if I had that shirt on. I still too this day can't watch a field goal and I have to have my wife tell me if it went through ...

:osu2: Coach Tressel - Future Hall of Famer / Legend :osu2:

p.s. joking of course for all the serious ones out there hahaha

Speaking of authentic jerseys, I did a Google search and nothing but bullshit sites came up. I got an authentic road jersey with number 13 on it about a year and a half ago, but can't remember which company I got it through. I wouldn't mind getting a home authentic jersey, regardless of number.

I got the authentic #45 home one in a mall about 6 years ago. It was Katz's number...but I knew it would always be great being Archie's number too. That thing has brought a lot of luck...as much as I'd love to wear an 85...I just can't part with my 45 yet. Maybe an 85 road jersey for the many road games I have started to go to.

You can order actual game worn jerseys through hangonsloopy.com

FTR - I'd wear Nuge's number in a heartbeat. No shame in that at all.

I just picked up #47 authentic at college traditions at the Mashall game. The only thing is that the stripes on the sleeves are already starting to crack. Ive washed it twice. It kinda burns me knowing how much I spent on the thing and it is already doing that.

I picked up an authentic number 13 home jersey last year at Cardboard Heroes when they first came out. A lot of other people did the same thing but ended up taking them back when all the stuff with Clarett started. I kept mine. Harlen Jacobs also wears it.

The material that those jersey's are made of will hang dry in a few hours. Avoiding the dryer will do wonders for the life of the numbers and stripes.
