Keandre Jones is a Buckeye!

Olney, MD native (Good Counsel) Keandre Jones has submitted his signed his letter of intent (LOI) to attend the Ohio State University. Keandre had been verbally committed to Maryland, saw the error of his ways and changed his mind. The 6’3″, 198 lb outside linebacker is rated as composite 4-star by 247sports and was the #8 nationally ranked player at his position. Keandre held 9 offers from schools that included Maryland, Penn State and Iowa. He was recruited by Larry Johnson and Luke Fickell.
Although his frame suggest “safety”, don’t forget that Darron Lee was recruited as a 6’2″, 205 lb “athlete” and he filled out to be “outside linebacker’ish” in his physique. There is always the chance that Keandre will break into 2-deep this season, but I anticipate special teams is where he will make his mark this season.
