on the one hand im happy that an ohio team is making some noise but also sad that it isnt OSU

That's crossed my mind as well. With OSU's athletic budget it's surprising that Akron has by far, the the state's premier college soccer program, and Kent has by far the state's best college golf, and baseball programs. OSU and Kent were in the same golf regional this year, and Kent literally finished 50 strokes better.

Kent's game 2 against Oregon is on ESPN U tonight at 10:00 PM. The premier high school baseball program in NE Ohio is Walsh Jesuit. Somehow Kent is getting some of the best from Walsh. Both last night's starting pitcher, and tonights starting pitcher, prepped at Walsh. If it make NJ feel better, the closer is from Hoban.

KSU scores in the 9th to take game three in Eugene 3-2, fuck the Ducks and head to Omaha for the first time in school history.

Can't read, can't write, Kent State! :banger:

Priorities?
Why does a school with a pedigree that includes Jesse Owens, Glenn Davis, Paul Warfield and Butch Reynolds have such a mediocre track program?
