Rivals $

LJ talks about recent combines, transfer to STA, and states Florida is the leader at this point.

LJ and Cody Riggs is going to be an awesome combination. Combined with Robinson should be great. I personally think Riggs is a better corner right. I know your like huh.. But LJ hasn't played to position solid since he started HS. Riggs is great at corner. LJ has a lot to improve as far as technique but he should be on Cody's level by the time the season starts. STA has great coaching. Now dont get it twisted, LJ is the better all around player. I'm just talking about corner specifically. LJ just might want to stay at Safety...Hear me out..He can play more than half the field. He's just like Doss and Bob sanders when they were in prep school. Like scouts say when they see him in person...he's 5'9" but he's not small. A good frame.
I hate all the news about his size. Like inches makes a player better. Thats BS. He went head to head with Delvin Jones 6'6" and Jones was overmatched.

Do you know where they plan to play him at STA?

OSU is young at CB, but even moreso at S (the potential safeties for 2010 are either redshirting or not on campus, unless Hines switches). Has OSU talked about where they want him?

OSU offered Riggs today. Could you imagine both of these guys dominating high school ball, and then going to OSU and dominating there too?

As a member of the South Florida community for many years I am greatly impressed by the effort and detail by tOSU in their recruiting efforts down here. It's one of the best of any out-of-state team.

Just like this guy we all remember (but for LJ's sake, not with the Bills)
I'm sure LJ will be more than happy to be playing in the NFL no matter who it's for. There's a certainly a lot worse franchises he could go to than the Bills, like both of the ones in Ohio for example.

They said where ever he wants to play. Thats BS b/c I said ok how about center or DT and I got no response. Really, he's going to play corner. It's natural for him. He has abnormal arm length, stupid long fingers, great hips, good burst, and he's very coachable.
He you guys wonder if they will offer my other guys like Corvin Lamb or Michealee Harris.

I know this is LJ's thread but we have a couple other targets for the '10 RB class, including but not limited to Corey Brown, Erick Howard, and Spencer Ware. Signing Day '10, is a long way away, and I like Lamb so who knows at this point.

We winning you over berryfan?

You don't need to win me over. :oh::io:

I am referring to the effort given by tOSU down here within the last 10 years or so compared to other out of state schools. One other out of state school that I remember also made a lot of strides in the 1990s and even took a few out of my high school Palmetto (where J. Berry played) was Auburn, but they seemed to have dropped off a lot in their efforts down here. Louisville actually did a good job in the 90s, too.

West Virginia is probably another one that comes to mind in terms of recruiting South Florida for top talent, Rutgers get some, too, but not the same in terms of the highest quality recruits. LSU occasionally. Mississippi has been trying hard with a lot of guys down here. tOSU really stands out in my mind as far the efforts they have given. Clemson and South Carolina also usually figure to be schools that S. Florida recruits consider, but they're not always successful, and I'd add Tennessee to that.

I guess what I am saying that more and more tOSU is a school that is what advertisers like to call top of mind.
