Lamarcus Joyner (DB New York Jets)

Well I think that game has to be attractive to Joyner even though FSU lost. FSU's secondary will cost them a few games. Florida is gonna eat them alive. There is early PT at FSU. Thier DB's might be fast but they are out of position alot...they looked like they were just running around with no design half the time.

When Kurt Coleman wins the Thorpe award...two years in a row for the Buckeyes...he may start to see the Buckeyes have serious talent in secondary.

Basically it gonna come down to whether he wants early PT or if he is willing to wait and possibly win awards like the Thorpe.

I would agree, but moreso because it wasn't a complete eyesore like many years.

Amos has said this is his final year. Torrence & Chekwa's final season at OSU is 2010.

OSU seemingly recruits more DBs than anybody, yet youngsters break into the depth chart often. Jenkins, Washington, Chekwa, Youboty, Russell, Coleman, Whitner, Fox, etc. There will definitely be PT available for any standout youngsters at both schools, but both will have competition.

I think Joyner has stated he would like to play safety. With his talent, he would surely have a chance to start from Day 1, at Coleman's vacated position.

ESPN: Checking in with top undecided recruits

Lamarcus Joyner, CB, (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas)
Joyner recently said that Florida State, Ohio State and Florida were his "big three" schools. The Seminoles have been in the driver's seat for some time and should still be considered the team with the best shot at ultimately landing him. Plenty of time will pass before Joyner makes a decision, though. The Buckeyes also have been strong for some time and never count out the Gators.

Lamarcus has some of the longest arms I've seen for a kid his height. Makes him more like 6 foot. I saw him last night on the walk from skull session to the stadium and was going to give him and OH but he disappeared into the crowd. Wonder how the visit went/is going.

College Football Recruiting On the Trail 2010 - ESPN

Lamarcus Joyner shines in STA win before heading to Columbus
Under Armour All-American cornerback Lamarcus Joyner (Miami/St. Thomas Aquinas) returned a kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown and took a screen pass to pay dirt in St. Thomas Aquinas' (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) 46-6 destruction of Boyd Anderson (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.).

"We didn't have an intense week of practice because of the rain [this week], and in the first half, it showed on offense," Joyner said. "But special teams is all speed."

Joyner, rated as the nation's No. 1 cornerback, accounted for 155 total yards on the night, the Miami Herald reports. He is expected to officially visit Ohio State for this weekend's clash with the USC Trojans.

Tennessee kicker commitment Michael Palardy kicked two field goals for St. Thomas Aquinas.

Four-star offensive lineman Brandon Linder, another four-star talent for STA, left Friday night's game with a left shoulder injury.
