Just a heads up we are losing 4 starters. Barton, Johnson, Gholston, and Grant. But, either way we have good backups to fill up there spots.

I'm aware of that, but (right or wrong) I don't really consider any of the FBs a FT starter considering none stood out head and shoulders in either playing time or impact. Very good players, don't get me wrong, but we had three rotating and both D. Johnson and Whaley were walk-ons (I believe, not sure about T. Robinson) until awarded a schollie this year.

"I think we have an opportunity to do something special," Laurinaitis said. "You can't come back and want to do this or do that. We have to go through the same process we do every year. It's going to be hard for us this year. Last year we came in under the radar. Other people didn't have much confidence in us but we knew we had a solid team. Now every big game, everyone is going to start doubting us again and we have to be mentally tough and that starts with this offseason."
That task will be easier with Laurinaitis leading the charge.

James has things in perspective. With his leadership the Buckeye ship may reach the promised land once again. Start dreaming now, the season will be here soon enough.

credit goes to TS10HTW for posting this earlier, but if you are like me, you may have skipped a few pages and missed it...

"I'm hoping they're happy," Laurinaitis said. "I hope Buckeye Nation knows I love them and they're a big reason I'm coming back, because of their love and support and how proud I am to represent them."

Nuff said....

My fiance lives in Columbus, and was at an appointment for some wedding stuff, and she said some 80 year old lady was listening to the radio and screamed. My fiance looked at her and the 80 year old woman said "Did you hear the good news??" JL's decision has touched the hearts of a whole variety of Buckeyes. It is really a great time to be a Buckeye, and I thank these juniors for helping me to realize that after a tough January.

That is very true, I thought maybe you were unaware of a player leaving. Thanks for clearing that up though. You are right, the FB position is not something that we need as much as a LB, OT, and DE, which we need every play. The fullback is an important role, just not as substantial as the other three positions, so I can see where you are coming from.
