LB Curtis Grant (National Champion)

I realize that, and I won't argue with you on this one. Henderson's recruitment was definitely a different breed, but all I am saying is just try not to get to excited yet. You might get to jump for joy and dance with some bananas or you might set yourself up for a letdown. You never know with these kids sometimes.

In the end, I hope we land him. Is there a good chance, absolutely. But I have witnessed many others go elsewhere late in the process and if he wants to go to Florida, North Carolina, or Virgina, then that is the right place for him.
Nobody can argue with that.

Letdown? These are kids choosing their college. If he chooses Ohio State I'll be happy to cheer for him. Someone else and I'll wish him the best. There's no letdown. Ohio State will continue to pull in quality football players.

Tony Steward leads top available ILBs - ESPN

Curtis Grant (Richmond, Va./Hermitage)
Player rank: 46 | Position rank: 3 | Grade: 81 | Stars: 4
Height: 6-3 | Weight: 220 pounds |
Considering
Florida North Carolina Ohio State Virginia
Why they want him: A player that really excels when working laterally. This is not to say he's afraid to take on a blocker and stuff the inside run, because he'll do that too. Grant has a never-ending motor and strong athleticism that make him a tough defender when he has to drop in coverage. He's aggressive and tough already but both will improve as he gets stronger.
Recruiting update: Grant is in Charlottesville this weekend checking out Virginia. He has one final visit remaining and that will be at North Carolina on Jan. 28. Then it's decision time.

Sounds like somebody's trying to build suspense for their announcement. I've seen this movie before.

Given that the new top two is coming from a "good source", I think it is a reach to conclude that Grant is trying to build suspense.

He may be, he may not be, but I don't think there is enough information out right now to know for sure.

It seems just as likely that he is giving every school their due, being nice to the most recent host school during interviews, and is handling the process as well as anyone could reasonably expect.
