Great story. College athletes are often chided for their "careless" mistakes and choices but the neat thing is that there are also so many stories like this one. Frankly, these college athletes, for the most part, are far better citizens that I was at that time.

LOL after watching the replay of the 4th down snap several times, it looks like the reason the NW QB fumbled the snap was that he saw Curtis staring at the signals coming from the sidelines and wanted to snap the ball before Curtis could throw himself into the play. Curtis is playing much better but we've got ways to go on D.

It was the 3rd down play before that he made a great tackle to set up that 4th down stop! Well done young man.
And we're saddened to hear of your fathers passing.
