"So, Ohio State is pretty much your leader?"

Hinesville, GA to Gainesville, FL
188 mi, 3 hours 10 minutes

Hinesville, GA to Clemson, SC
251 miles, 5 hours 15 minutes

Hinesville, GA to Tuscaloosa, AL
443 mi, 7 hours

Hinesville, GA to Columbus, OH
710 mi, 11 hours 20 minutes

There's obviously a significant jump in distance and time to Columbus, but it's not like he's going to be able to drive home for the weekend regularly from Bama or even Clemson given the distances involved (and it's not like he'd even be able/allowed to in the first place).

That should be a pretty easy concern to overcome with a little bit of time and explanation from some of the southern players on Ohio State's roster.

I'd be more worried about......

You know, Coach Meyer, if he was still at Florida, I think I?d be committed to Florida right now.

Than this.....

Yes sir. I think Alabama and Ohio State are probably my leaders, with Clemson up there, too.?

Multiple trips to Florida over the last couple weeks.....as they say.....watch what they do, not what they say.

so if/when he comes back to osu for friday night lights in july with his family with him......

Then that's obviously a good sign :). And before anyone jumps the gun & suggests I'm calling him a Gator, I'm not lol. I still think he ends up a Buckeye.....

No matter how much or how early an OOS recruit gushes over OSU, I try to keep low expectations until they finally sign on the dotted line. Really hope Raekwon ends up a Buckeye but as we saw with Derrick Green, sometimes it just doesn't work out. Best to keep your expectations neutered.

:oh:

The Derrick Green situation was nothing like the McMillan situation. From what I've read Ohio State backed off of recruiting Green.

Yeah they backed off because they wanted only 1 RB in the class and Elliott filled that. Different than McMillan who is in a position that we have a need for. I don't see the staff backing off his recruiting, especially since the sec is starting to ratchet up their recruiting of him
