Looking for new clubs?

Possibly furthest from being an expert that exists in this thread

While on vacation a few years ago.. on a cloudy day.. I took my son to a country club pro shop.. grabbed a couple irons from virtually every brand.. and at the last second, decided to include Wilson Fat Shafts - since I had no interest in them at all...

They gave us a couple huge bags of balls and we wailed away for a long time... make a long story short.. the Fat Shafts were outstanding... very forgiving... very consistent.. great clubs... helped me score a 90 on Firestone South and broke a hundred on the North... on back to back days... that was damn good for me...

BTW... my guess... that slice somebody has with those 800cc head drivers... is because you're so focused on killing it with that beast.. that you're pulling the club at the shaft.. swinging too hard... and opening the face.. so you get the slice... not that I've ever done that...

You can also check their preowned selection to see if someone returned what you want in your size. http://pinemeadowgolf.com/cgibin/eca...d=lltocoflinks

You can always buy a bag at Wal-Mart for $40 if you need one.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

why buy pre-owned when you can get a nice set that is one sale?? I recomend this if you haven't seen them.... they're pn sale for 129.99.
