Watson, Crick & A Twist
This torrent is for the LSU at Ohio State game played in 1988.
This is taken from an ESPN Classic re-broadcast of the game - hence the file is smaller than most game files.
The game itself included an absolute nail-biting finish with the Buckeyes winning in a late comeback. Bobby Olive's 4th quarter return heroics off an LSU free kick helped set up the Buckeyes winning drive. (This followed Mike Archer's decision to go for two the other kind of way instead of punting the ball away - which all goes to show that Special Teams were of vital importance even before JT came on campus.)
The file you need to copy to your DVD is LSU_AT_OSU_1988_full.avi, which has a physical size of 1.3 GB.
This file has been created from a VHS recording of the game, transcoding was done in AviDeMux (thanks for the pointer rocketman!). An adaptive sharpening filter was applied to improve video quality, this helped, a lot, but it will NOT be as sharp as the files created from all-digital media.
(I think it looks pretty good though considering the original media quality).
The contained file can also be played on certain Video players on PC and in DVD player applications once written correctly to DVD. Once written to DVD this game will play on all DiVX certified DVD players on your TV - please consult the BP guides and pointers for help.
As always - if you don't want to copy this file to disc remove it from the files to burn to DVD.
Good luck and enjoy.
